Come with us on the ultimate road trip, to one of the least populated areas of New Zealand. Waterfalls galore, Yellow Eyed Penguins, Sea Lions, Dolphins, Fossilised Trees, and an adventure that heads us well away from the hustle bustle of the tourist trails, this is one of my favourite places in New Zealand, and I am sure it will quickly become one of yours.
Our time is spent at a variety of locations along New Zealands Catlin Coast. The trip departs from Queenstown and heads towards the coast at Balclutha. From here it is all coastal action with amazing places to explore at our leisure. There are many easily accessible beautiful waterfalls, gorgeous forests, rugged coastal beaches, rolling farm land, majestic lone trees, and a vast array of wildlife viewing possibilities from Dolphin, Seals, and Yellow Eyed Penguins.
Specific locations that we will be visiting include, Nugget Point, Purakaunui Falls, Matai Falls, McLeans Falls, Curio Bay, Slope Point and many many more beautiful places.
Photography is about being open to the opportunities that arise, this itinerary is a suggested guideline that will provide the frame work for us to be flexible within, enjoying the environment and all that it has to offer photographically throughout the day. We encourage you to keep an open mind of exploration to enjoy this multi day journey with us to its fullest.
